Help your child

We know that your children work really hard at school, but there are certain things that really help them to secure their learning, and to ensure they retain what they have been taught.  We don't want to overwhelm or over burden.  We do expect children to read 5 times per week.  It really helps if you sign their reading diary so that we can see how your child is doing at home.  Also use this book to explain any difficulties, including whether they have a text that  they simply do not enjoy.

In addition to this they will have one piece of maths homework and one piece of literacy homework in a week.  Please support them in completing this.  We have included some websites that might support you in supporting them.  If you would like any further guidance or support, our door is always open.
