St Anne's Catholic Primary School

We will be celebrating ‘World Book Day’ on Thursday 2nd March 2023. Throughout the day, there will be a variety of fun and exciting activities for your children to get involved with- all centered around reading.

We would like your child/children to arrive at school dressed as their favourite book character- there will be a prize for the most creative costume in every class! It would be greatly appreciated if your child could also bring their favourite book from home, to share with their friends.

At 2:55pm, you can visit your childs class to hear their teacher read to them. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to engage with your childs novel.  If you would like to do this please enter through the main reception area to sign in.  When the bell goes at 3.15pm, we will ask you to wait on the playground to collect your child as normal.  This is for safeguarding purposes.
