Lunchtime provision
Here at St. Anne's we are extremely fortunate that we have virtually no behaviour issues to deal with during lunchtime. Once the children have enjoyed a healthy and tasty meal (outside if weather permits) they are then supported in their play by ALL of our teaching assistants plus an additional four supervisory assistants. This is a lot of staff, but we feel that the children can then be guided in their games and in their play. It ensures they are active throughout, and involved in team-building - two things we are passionate about. Having a fun-filled, action-packed, adult-supported lunchtime means they are truly ready to learn in the afternoon without any distractions that arise due to playground issues.
